Been lazy to update... I've actually been reading a whole lot! Read until lazy to turn on my com. Anyway...
Since the last time I updated, I haven't done terribly much.
Went bowling with Kal. Got a couple of spares and strikes! Our hands kinda ached though. And the alley was a lil too empty for my liking, but we got a lot of space!
Friday went out with May Ann. Wasn't feeling too well though, so I wasn't up for going too far. So I just went to her house for awhile (her dogs are... interesting) then West Mall then home. My sis finally got her driving license, so next goal for us would be to get a car!
Saturday, mum and I made baked fish and chicken thigh! It was fun... Then we watched the Chelsea match. 2-1 man! A few people messaged me about the game, so it was nice that they remembered I was a Chelsea supporter! Mum and I found Drogba extremely irritating. He keeps falling down! Why don't you just go to London's acting school man!
On Sunday, we went to watch We Will Rock You again! Haha... courtesy of Singapore Pools. This time, we splurged and got the 3rd row seat! The audience was fantastic that night. I think they really got a good send off! At the end, my sis and I went right to the stage and got to slap a couple of the casts' hands! Mig was too far, but we got to see him real close when he ran past us! Hee... He's pretty short, but oh so cute! :)
So that's that. I've applied for so many jobs since then I've lost count! Cross my fingers and hope I get one soon! :)

A Rather Productive Day
These days, I usually go to sleep at around 4.30+. I'd wake up at around 12+. I get more than enough sleep, so when its time for me to go to bed, I have a hard time falling asleep. So, in order to rectify this problem, I decided to get up earlier today (10.30) and stay fully awake until the Chelsea match at 2.30 which means I'll be sleeping at 5, then wake up at 9 and meet Kal later in the day. Ya know, the whole readjustment of the body clock thingy. I gave in and took a nap just now at 10+. Sigh...
Anyway, today is ''a rather productive day'' cos I painted! I hadn't painted since March 7 2007 and that was a simple black and white painting. This time I played with colours and I used stuff around the house: fork, toilet roll, rubber band and candle. I would take a picture of it and post it, but it was more of an experimental painting and therefore not particularly good. But, it did give me an idea for my next one!
I also did some housework, which is rare these days! :)
Finally, my cousin Jessica came over to try and install Sims! It was unssuccessful though.. I didn't realize I had this many Sims games!
I checked my reporting time for graduation today. I got an ''achievement in CCA, Bronze''. Pretty happy with that! I can't believe its happening.. Seems like only yesterday I was rushing for projects and hanging out with my girls, being stressed together and now its all over. Three years of my life for a piece of paper. Was it worth it? Guess I'll have to wait and see...

I finally figured out how to put my blog name on the picture! Hee... Thanks Jess!

We Will Rock You!!
Yea! Rock rules man!
Yesterday, mum and I went to the Esplanade to watch the hit musical by Queen and Ben Elton. My sis bought the $97 tickets for us, courtesy of her civil servant performance bonus! However, they ''upgraded'' our seats to the more expensive one (I think its the $120 one) probably cos it was empty enough to bump everyone up!
It started out with a chilling light show and a rockin' guitar solo! And since Singaporeans are notoriously non-participant in most shows, I say we did pretty well! The show rocked so well that it got everyone inside standing up, singing and clapping their hands, altogether chanting We Will Rock You!
Its an incredible show, with a good mix of comedy and drama. The music is... sensational and the actors... I can't believe they do this every night. Respect man... you guys give your body and voice to the performance and you guys rock!
How many times have I used ''rock''? Anyway...
I totally have this celebrity crush on Mig Ayesa. Some of you might know him as a finalist on Rockstar:INXS. He's just cute adorable Mig to me now. Haha... He's Australian but his American accent in the show is pretty convincing and he's just so darn likeable!
Alright, I think I'm gonna watch my sister bake some cookies. I got worried when she wanted to melt chocolate directly in the pan instead of surrounded by water... :)

The Funnest Week!
I went Sentosa on Thursday! Boy, was that day fun. It really goes to show that you can have fun in Singapore... If ya got money! F.Y.I. My mum's wallet took a serious blow this week... Lucky for that $250 she won in 4D mid week! :)
Then it was off to the museum for a history of Singapore. The tour was alright, but I got freaked out by the was figures. They were scarily ugly and they can be still one second and move the next. Part of the interactive exhibit I guess...
Phew! It was close to 11 by the time the activities ended, but not before we took a tour of Singapore's... red light district! Geylang is pretty interesting at night... We saw a lot of different kinds of men and women and I just couldn't help but be sad when I think of what the girls have to do inside those private houses. Especially since all the men that go to those places... Urgh.
I hadn't woken up this early in weeks. On Thursday, I had to wake up at 7.30. We (me, mum and my uncle) left the house close to 9 and took a cab to Vivo. Had breakfast, then took the ''train'' to Sentosa. First stop of the day: The Luge! Its fun man. We took the package deal, $18 for 3 rides. We had to take this lift to the starting point, which gives you a pretty cool view of Sentosa. It won't be fun if you're afraid of heights of course. Our legs were dangling at about 8 storeys in the air! The ride down on the Luge was super fun. They take a picture of you and somehow, you'll be smiling! :)

After that, it was back to Vivo for a lil walking around, shopping and a movie at GV Max: Street Kings. I was a lil tired by then so I fell asleep in the middle...
It was raining by the time the movie ended, so we hung out, shopped some more and later took a cab to... The Singapore Flyer! Taxi drivers get to go for free and their family members, moi, get 25% off! We had Popeyes (I love Popeyes) before getting on for the 30 minute ride with a panoramic view of Singapore's Marina Bay.

It was close to midnight by the time we stumbled back home. Watched American Idol then went to bed.
The next day, me, my sis, my uncle, his friend and mum cooked dinner! Our guests were my sis' bf, my cousin and his gf and another cousin and his wife. We slaved the afternoon away but everyone enjoyed the dinner. I even made pineapple-orange sorbet! Nothing beats good food, good company and good stories!
The ending of my funnest week was with tears and a mad dash to The Esplanade! I sent my uncle off to a teary goodbye on Sunday, followed by rushing to buy Popeyes, then driving against the speed limit to send my sister off to a show 'We Will Rock You' at The Esplanade. She was late, so when we dropped her off, she took off her shoe and ran in! Haha... people were staring at her... She was still late, but they let her and her bf in 5 min later.
So that's the end of a fun week. Now I'm seriously trying to find a job! Hee... :)

A Day Out
Went out with May Ann today. Man, I think the last time we hung out alone together, just the two of us was last year! Anyway, it was a pretty fun day. We started out eating ice cream at Holland Village. A place called Cold Rock. You can pick your flavours and they mix it with a topping of your choice. I choice peanut butter and chocolate chip mixed with cookie dough! It was pretty nice, chewy and sweet...
After that, we went to go Bugis Junction. I wanted to take neoprint... From Holland Village, we took bus 7 to Clementi, thinking if we took mrt there it'd be faster. So when we got to Clementi, we realised that bus 7 actually goes to Bugis! So we took the bus back. It was only about half an hour, so I guess it was pretty fast.
Upon reaching there, we went straight to take our neoprints. After that, a bout of shopping (stuff from The Face Shop) followed by dinner. I had some spaghetti at the food court which wasn't very nice and not really worth my money... We hung out after that. A place called Rockery on the first floor. I ordered a peach smoothie. It looked like some ice blended shit. And it tasted horrible. I think they put oo much syrup of something. Needless to say, I did not enjoy it! I accompanied May Ann until about 7 then I took off.
Bad peach ''smoothie''
My relatives were playing mahjong at my place, so I stayed in my room the whole night.... Tommorow I'm supposed to go Sentosa with my uncle who's visiting from Australia. I seriously hope my mum comes along. I've never spent much alone time with him before, and I hope it won't be too awkward! :)
