Working on Hari Raya

Phew! It was such a packed day man! There were a couple areas where you couldn't walk 5 steps without having to avoid someone! And after one show ended, people were just cramming to get out of the place. Feedings went quite alright. Some areas where the sound was softer, I had to raise the level of my voice more. That's not so fun... And since it was a public holday, there were plenty of families there. That means... aunties and uncles!!! The bad ones... the ones that steal seats from children and pregnant women. They are rude and they talk loudly when I'm doing my feedings. Some of the aunties kids pushed other kids to get a good view of the animals, and some pushed me for no reason! There's this one girl, I was just standing there. Suddenly I felt a hard push at my hip. I looked down and that brat was just staring at me. Instinctively, I pushed her back and gave her a ''you like that?'' look. Sigh... kids these days...

Then after work, I took a bus home. 138 and 927 came at the same time. The bus stop has space for 2 buses. So 138 stopped at the 1st spot and 927 at the 2nd spot. All the aunties and some workers rushed to the bus. Seriously, they ran like someone was giving out stacks of hundred dollar bills. I was one of the first few to board the bus, until... a few workers pushed pass me to get on the bus. Like how in Amazing Race when they go India and the people push past them? Exactly like that. The 1st guy shocked me when he pushed pass me, then the 2nd guy tried to push past me again! Ya know how they're rather small and I'm rather big... I used what I had and I pushed him aside! Haha... Of course, he moved with ease and I managed to get on the bus with a decent seat.

Then while I was waiting for the bus to move off, A couple people who don't look retarted came up the bus from the back door! The driver was kinda old and he didn't do anything about it... Then when the aunties managed to get on the bus, they grabbed whatever seats they could and they even tried to chope seats for their bratty kids/grandkids! The ugly side of Singaporeans...

Anyway, I went to watch Eagle Eye with mum and sis that night. It was rather ok. The action sequences were packed full of adreneline! And Shia Labeouf is always a treat to watch! I also watched House Bunny. Like most Happy Madison (Adam Sandler company) films, the comedy is funny but most of it you've probably seen in the trailer and there's always something lacking, which most of the time is depth and character establishment (as I'd like to call it). Nevertheless, its a nice funny show to watch and its definitely one you watch with friends, guys and girls.
